What is Oneshot?

Oneshot is an AI coding agent that builds and deploys web applications for you. Describe what you want, and Oneshot writes the code and deploys it — no coding required.

Do I need to know how to code?

No! Oneshot is designed for non-technical users. Just describe your app in plain English and Oneshot handles all the technical work.

What kinds of apps can I build?

Oneshot can build:

• Landing pages and marketing sites
• Portfolios and personal websites
• SaaS applications
• Dashboards and admin panels
• E-commerce stores (basic)
• Internal tools
• MVPs and prototypes

What can't Oneshot build?

Currently, Oneshot works best for web applications. It's not ideal for:

• Native mobile apps (iOS/Android)
• Complex enterprise software
• Apps requiring real-time features (like multiplayer games)
• Hardware integrations

Building Apps

How long does it take to build an app?

Most apps can be built in 15-30 minutes. Simple landing pages take about 10 minutes. Complex apps with many features may take longer.

Can I make changes after building?

Yes! Just chat with Oneshot and describe what you want to change. For example:

• "Make the header sticky"
• "Add a testimonials section"
• "Change the color scheme to blue"

Can I see my app before deploying?

Yes. Oneshot provides a live preview where you can interact with your app before deploying it to the public.

What if I don't like what Oneshot built?

You can:

1. Ask Oneshot to make specific changes
2. Regenerate sections you don't like
3. Start over with a clearer description

Deployment & Hosting

Where is my app hosted?

Your app is deployed to Oneshot's cloud infrastructure with a URL like yourproject.oneshotapp.io.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, with a Pro subscription you can connect your own domain (e.g., myapp.com).

Is my app secure?

Yes. All apps include:

• HTTPS/SSL encryption
• Secure authentication (when applicable)
• Protected API endpoints
• Regular security updates

What happens if Oneshot goes down?

Your deployed apps run on separate infrastructure and will continue working even if the Oneshot dashboard is temporarily unavailable.

Credits & Billing

How do credits work?

Credits are used when Oneshot generates content (chat responses, documents, code). See our Credits & Pricing guide for details.

Do credits expire?

No, purchased credits never expire.

Can I get a refund?

We don't offer refunds on credit purchases, but contact us if you experience technical issues and we'll help.

Is there a free trial?

Every new account gets 100 free credits — enough to build and deploy your first app.

Technical

Can I export my code?

Yes, you can download your app's source code anytime. It's standard React/Next.js code that you can host anywhere.

What tech stack does Oneshot use?

• Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Node.js, API routes
• Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL)
• Hosting: Global CDN deployment

Can I edit the code myself?

If you export your code, you can edit it however you want. However, if you make manual changes and then ask Oneshot to update the app, your manual changes may be overwritten.

Does Oneshot work with my existing codebase?

Currently, Oneshot creates new apps from scratch. It doesn't integrate with existing codebases.

How do I delete my account?

Email hello@oneshot.dev and we'll delete your account and all associated data.

Is my data private?

Yes. We don't share your app descriptions, code, or data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I have multiple team members?

Team features are coming soon! For now, each account is individual.
